Funneling the Leads

The Challenge

Confio presented Imulus with the challenge of redesigning their corporate Web site to drive lead generation and product awareness. The new site needed to be appealing to DBAs from both a design and content perspective, yet approachable enough that C-level executives would feel comfortable working with Confio.

The Solution

Initially, Imulus was tasked to redesign the Confio site while another party was hired to do the implementation. However shortly after beginning the project, Imulus was given sole control of improving the Web site and increasing lead generation. To do so, Imulus integrated Salesforce.com with the Confio site to help funnel leads directly into the sales system at Confio. Leads were tagged according to their true referral source, the user’s clickpath and the time they spent on the site. Once this data was collected it was then fed into a reporting system designed to show lead trends over time. Imulus also identified various key Web pages that warranted additional design elements to increase conversions.

The Results

Since the redesign, Confio has experienced a substantial increase in lead generation each quarter. The new lead tracking system helps the Confio sales team quickly qualify leads; enabling them to focus more time on the most promising prospects.
